Seminar: "Virtual Power Plants, Energy Storage Systems and Renewable Energy Cooperatives"

We would like to invite to the 2nd edition of the Seminar: "Virtual Power Plants, Energy Storage Systems and Renewable Energy Cooperatives", which will be held on 28th February 2017 in Czestochowa, Poland.
The Seminar will be divided into two sessions:

1. Apart from the lecture and debate session, where our Guest Speakers will present business and technological aspects of VPP and ESS development and investments, there will also be a practical demonstration of a fully functional Virtual Power Plant installation at the Electric Engineering Department, Czestochowa University of Technology.
2. All participants are invited to visit the VPP installation at the Electric Engineering Department, Czestochowa University of Technology. The VPP installation includes: renewable energy sources (photovoltaics, wind turbines), energy storage unit, central processing system analyzing and managing the installation in real-time.

The Seminar will focus on the following issues:

• Regulations and investments for Virtual Power Plants and Energy Cooperatives implementation and development
• Legal and commercial aspects of VPP and dispersed energy integration with the energy grid
• Clusters/cooperation of RES installations as a way of effective utilization of renewable energy
• Production and energy trade in RES installations with the application of VPP technology and RES Cooperatives - new potential and challenges for the market
• Market strategies and bisness models of VPP technology implementation in Europe
• Energy Storage systems
• The potential of investments in distributed / renewable energy industry in Poland.
